Century Theatre

Beijing Century Global International Theatre & Performance Management CO.LTD is a joint venture company established by Global Group and Beijing Century Theatre. A pioneering project, this joint venture is an important step in bringing musicals to China while developing local talent and resources.

By joining forces with Beijing Century Theatre, Global stage wants to bring musical culture, theatre management and production expertise to China. We want to produce musicals that are in the caliber of West End and Broadway productions. We have devised plans to renovate Beijing Century Theatre and update existing stage, sound system and lighting equipment. Through the skills and knowledge of foreign and Chinese experts we want to impart important management, organization and advertising know-how to our local teams. The purpose of our endeavors is to bring musical shows in China up to world standards and create an appreciation for Chinese artists and productions both at home and abroad.

After it's completion in 2007, Global Stage aims to stage at least one musical per year at Century Theatre. Through effective advertising we hope to capture the interest of Chinese audiences and make musicals a part of their lives and how they entertain themselves.
