Beijing City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) is founded in 2005. Mr. Teng Aimin, a famous domestic dancer, national first class actor, member of China Terpsichorean Association, originated this dance group and took up the post of the artistic director. Some works of CCDC: Memories of Blogs, Heart Beating/Body Trembling, Maple Leaves are Red, Flow, Vitality, Bourgeon, Crisis, Ravelment, Soul, Shadow, By another Side of Water, the Director’s Chimera, and Controversy.

CCDC officially joined in Carmen—Passionate Love in November, 2007 and started rehearsing after since.
