Carmen-Passionate Love Premiering in 2008, 'Carmen-Passionate Love' is the first musical produced using only Chinese resources and talent. Based on George Bizet's famous 'Carmen', this more contemporary interpretation features compositions from the original such as Toreador, Rosen Aries and Habanera, in addition to Jazz, Pop, traditional Chinese and Classical music. 'Carmen-Passionate Love’ is the perfect combination of Eastern and Western culture, music and values. Throughout performances there are numerous references made to art, philosophy and world history including the Romantic Period and Qing Dynasty. Shows consist of skillful acting, passionate dancing and powerful singing. These are amplified by our state-of-the-art technology in sound and lighting. For our audiences here in China and elsewhere 'Carmen-Passionate Love' is guaranteed to be a unique and unforgettable experience. Sissi-Princess of Hearts The story of the legendarily brave and beautiful Austrian Princess Sissi is well known to Chinese audiences. A people's princess, Sissi was courageous, wise, charismatic and fierce in her fight for justice. In this musical, Sissi's passionate love affairs, her dreams, desire for freedom and tragic end will be brought to life. Directed by Eduard Swoboda, 'Sissi-Princess of Hearts' will touch the deepest sentiments of audiences and leave them with a fine musical experience. We will begin the casting and production for 'Sissi' in 2008.
